Why should you submit your requests digitally via the dashboard from now on?

➡️ You can access global production options with just a few clicks. You always have an overview of all requests and can expect faster response times from us. In addition, your request will be processed using the latest technologies to find the best production partners for your products worldwide.

Step-by-step instructions

1. request overview

In the Line Up Dashboard, you will find the ‘’Requests‘’ item in the left-hand menu bar. Here you can clearly view and manage all requests that you have submitted to Line Up. Each request has its own status. This allows you to see at a glance which requests are currently being processed, which are still pending and for which you already have an offer. The clear structure and easy access to all relevant information ensures that you are always up to date and never lose sight of a request.

To start a new request with Line Up, you can click on the plus sign at the top right of the request overview.

2. create a new request

The request form is divided into two areas. On the left-hand side, you can add items to your request and edit them. Here you have the opportunity to send us the most important information about your products. On the right-hand side you will find all the general information about your request.

2.1 Add an article

To add an article to a request, you can click on the ‘+’ sign. An input mask will appear in which you can enter all product-relevant information. The more information you can provide us with, the more specifically we can respond to your request. You can fill in the following fields:

  • Title: You can enter the article description here. This field is mandatory.

  • Quantity: Enter the quantity you would like to request here. This field is mandatory.

  • Your article number: You can enter your article number here so that you can allocate the article quickly.

  • Target price: If available, you can tell us your desired target price.

  • Weight: If possible, it helps us if you enter the item weight.

  • Material: Many products can be manufactured in different materials. In this field, tell us the exact material in which you would like to produce your parts.

Once you have entered all the information, you can link the item to the request using the ‘Add item’ button.

2.2 Uploading documents, editing articles and removing articles

As soon as you have linked an item, it will appear in the left-hand section of the request form. Here you can now also upload further documents relating to your item that will help us to understand the product you are requesting in the best possible way. This includes, for example, technical drawings, product images or a sketch. In addition to uploading documents, you can also subsequently edit the item information or remove the item from the request.

On the right-hand side of the request form you will find your personal contact person at Line Up, who you can contact at any time.

You also have the option of providing us with further information about your request. For example, you can enter an individual reference for your request so that it can be quickly allocated internally. You can also leave us a comment that we should take into account when processing your request and select your desired delivery date and your preferred delivery conditions.

Finally, you will also find your delivery and billing address in this area. Your preferred addresses are preselected here by default. You also have the option to choose between other stored addresses or to add a new address.
